Update: 11/9/2009

So I must have hit 45 stores on Friday.. I figured since I have been abusing the Crystal Lake to Elgin area I thought I would try a different approach. Went from Deer Park > Arlington Heights > Rolling Meadows > Schaumburg > Bloomingdale and of course my favorite one of all the Walmart in Crystal Lake, IL.

Well I bet your wondering if I got one??? The answer is NO, I'm starting to think people are making these things up.

Here is a quick highlight from Fridays adventure

Toys R US - Schaumburg, IL
It was like any other Toys R us when I walked in but this one was going to be special. So I walk over by the aisle and there are no Zhu Zhu pet, a lady got there at the same time I did to find the same result. So I happen to look up and I notice 2 boxes with the company name that makes Zhu Zhu's. The hair on my arms stood up.. So right around the same time the lady next to me notices the same thing. Now the heat is on and we need to find us one of those qualified employees at Toys R Us to get these boxes down. So I grab Reggie (not sure that is his name but I would bet $10.00 his name was Reggie) anyway, he brings down the 2 boxes and I'm standing right next to him so if they are in the box I'm guaranteed to get one.... well .. no hammies, it was the play stuff, skateboard, surfboard, car, etc. So I grabbed them all (I had no plans of buying) but I wanted the lady next to me to suffer. The 2nd box was opened and the same thing. So I had all of these playsets and the lady ask me are you going to buy all those.. I said YEP!!!! .. the look on her face was priceless. So I turned to her with this I'm better than you look and said which one do you need? She replies "I'm really looking for the Car" I said that is great I have 10 of them and I'm holding on to them so kids don't get them for Christmas. Her face didn't change not one bit when I said that. So I gave her the skateboard one. She was pissed but I couldn't resist. Long story short, I took all the accessories and put them in different places throughout the store. I figured since I can't find the damn hamsters people aren't going to get those unless they search the store....Where's Waldo Baby?
